Dr Anna Pollock is a clinical psychologist who works predominately in adult mental health. Anna has special interests in working with individuals, couples, clients suffering from burnout in the workplace, and clients with long term health conditions – specifically chronic pain.Anna endeavours to provide a warm, empathic and collaborative space to equip clients with the tools they need to move forward in their lives.Anna has over fifteen years of experience in supporting clients to manage the following difficulties:

With reference to the most recent evidence base and in conjunction with clients, Anna tailors therapeutic interventions to suit individuals. Anna works with integrated formulations and interventions drawing on Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mindfulness approaches within a systemic framework. Anna’s work with couples is informed by the Gottman Method of relationship repair. Anna particularly enjoys running workshops such as ‘Resilience Training to Prevent Burnout’ and 'Wellbeing at Work' in the corporate sector and ‘Mindfulness for Chronic Pain Management’ in hospital settings. Training and Memberships
Anna is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. Anna holds a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology in addition to a Master of Sciences degree in Research, and a Master of Arts (Honours) degree in Psychology and English from the UK.
